Pregnancy is a season of life unlike any other—the time when you carried your baby below your heart. While these months may feel long and sometimes exhausting, I promise that one day you’ll want to look back and remember what it felt like to “hold and feel your baby” before they arrived earth-side. Lifestyle maternity sessions are all about capturing the love and connection within your growing family. Your partner and children (if you have any) are welcome to join as we focus on the excitement of welcoming a new baby while highlighting the beauty of motherhood.

If you’re interested in a solo maternity session to celebrate this special season just for you, let me know! I’d love to create a session that feels personal and meaningful to you.

What is the best time for a maternity session

You’ll want your baby bump to be beautifully visible—but feeling comfortable is just as important! I typically recommend scheduling your maternity session during the 3rd trimester, around 26-34 weeks, but the timing is entirely up to you. Every pregnancy is different—some women show at 20 weeks, while others wait until just a few weeks before their due date. The best time for maternity photos is whenever you feel your best and most excited to capture this special season!

What is the best outfits for maternity photos

A flowy dress is always my top recommendation! Soft, flowing fabrics create beautiful movement in photos and highlight your baby bump in the most flattering way. If you’re looking for options, check out local maternity dress rentals or browse through Kind red soul that has amazing gowns for maternity photos!

When choosing a dress, make sure it compliments your pregnant body by defining your chest and bump. Avoid overly loose or shapeless outfits, as they can hide your belly instead of showcasing it.

Feel free to bring ultrasound pictures, meaningful props, or a special sibling shirt to make your session even more personal!

It’s important to get along with your photographer! I am a super laid-back, calm and patient person when it comes to the photo shoots. I have been photographing families since 2018 and it quickly became a passion of mine. If you want to read more about my journey, click below.
