Fall family session at Rosario Beach, Anacortes, WA

Rosario beach in Anacortes is the first location I visited since we moved to Washington. I was blown away with its’ beauty. I am so happy my first client since we relocated showed this amazing place and we took her family pictures here. Kristen and her family moved to WA just a year ago and this location was just a prefect reflection of their current home.

Rosario beach in Anacortes offers endless beautiful little locations to capture the unique connection of your family.

There are woodsy paths, amazing beaches with drift wood, a long bridge and grassy cliffs overlooking the ocean.

This area gives you all the Pacific Northwest feelings, the combination of deep green woods, pebble beaches and grassy meadows is perfect for fall family photos. The locations are not too far away from each other and the little hike is doable even for little ones. Let your kids explore this breathtaking park and follow along.

3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR SESSION AT ROSARIO BEACH:

  • Do not wear high heels. Even though we won’t be going on a super long hike, the surfaces are not suitable for high heels.

  • Make sure you have a Discovery pass for a free parking or cash to be able to park at the beach.

  • Wear earthy fall tones that complement the landscape but don’t be afraid to implement a pop-up color too!
