Beach family session at Sandbridge I VA Beach
It’s the time of the year… family reunions at the Sandbridge beach or family vacations to Virginia Beach Oceanfront are in a full swing. Oftentimes it’s your baby’s first time to see the ocean and to dip the toes in the water. Every year, I am so excited to capture these moments for you. I love spending summer sunsets outside, especially on the beach.
When Erica contacted me, she mentioned she is expecting another baby, and I immediately knew I wanted her session the happen at Back Bay Wildlife refuge.
This location holds a special place in my heart. There are a few reason why you should pick this place to be your location as wel!!
Stillness. There are no toursits, no distractions and no messy backgrounds.
The Back Bay Wildlife refuge hides the most beautiful peaceful beach.

In order to have a session here, your photographer MUST have a permit! The good news is, I have one! So you can go ahead and book a session with me :). Back Bay Wildlife refuge is a protected area so maybe you will see frogs, deer, snakes and lots of different birds on the way to the beach. We spot dolphins almost every night we are there!
You should also know:
there is only one potter potty available in the evenings
if you are up to it, your session can start by walking down the beautiful trails and the brand-new boardwalk before we reach the beach (10min walk)
the park closes by sunset
no pets are allowed, so if you want to bring your fur baby, this is not a location for you
