My favorite family session in 2020

I have been meaning to write this post about two months ago as we wrapped up the crazy 2020. Despite the fact I wasn’t able to work the first six months of the year due to the pandemic on a top of my husband’s deployment, I had a blast when I started taking family photos again last summer.

I love ALL the families I take photos of but there is one gallery I keep coming back to even today. Gallery of Amanda, Phill and their baby boy Jameson.

We kept rescheduling this session due to Phill’s navy duties as one day Amanda gave up and said that at least it would be her and her son. Also we changed the location last minute. I am on a constant hunt for locations and I just learnt that there is a wild flower field in a full bloom in Chesapeake/Pungo area that just seemed prefect. I was so excited that Amanda agreed on it and she switched her outfit from fall to summer vibe. Even though it was October, we were melting in the heat so it didn’t feel like fall at all anyway.

As they showed up at the location, there was the first amazing surprise! Phill made it! I don’t know how but he was there and I know how happy Amanda was to have her husband by her side.

When I met little Jameson, he just stole my heart. I am a girl mom but I loved this boy from the first minute. He was the most adorable, happy and sweet boy and I love all the photos I took of him. I think that’s why this gallery was the largest once I ever delivered. Once again thanks to this session was reminded how very blessed we are. You never know how much you are able to care about somebody and how much empty space in your heart was until you become a mother. I love following Jameson’s story and I am so excited the capture his pictures again on his first birthday. This story is to be continued!
