The days and moments before deployment begins might be the hardest ones. You are counting down the days till your partner’s departure and that can be more stressful than counting down the days till he is back.

Emily and Matt did put the stress behind for a bit to spend one more fun evening all together on the beach before the D day comes. Little miss Peyton did fell face first to the sand the first minute of the session but we just laughed about it. She was adorable and all she wanted was to walk into the waves. The ocean, the sky and the wind were wild (in between storms) and I love how that shows on their photos.
